VoIP has been our core business since early 2007 when we set up our own IP switching network. This network has helped us develop a customer base of over 11,500 accounts by end of 2009 with a growth rate of over 100% per annum. Our range of VoIP products include; IP PBX (for corporate use), Phone to Phone- CLI based, Phone to Phone- PIN based, CallBack, PC to Phone, IP Phone and Mobile VoIP on Nokia’s Symbian, BlackBerry, iPhone, Android & Windows Mobile.
Corporate Strategy
AirTouch has a reputation for excellence and reliability in service delivery. Our short term strategy has been to focus on market penetration and gain a share of the existing telecommunication market in Kenya and globally. The company has adopted product development strategy to differentiate itself from competition. As part of our marketing strategy, we have adopted a variety of customer retention techniques. We only supply a service/solution after thorough research and testing so as to minimize costs of system change and downtime for our clients.
Business Strategy
The cost of telephone communication is a burden that any organization aspiring to excel in its core business cannot avoid. Our market analysis indicates that many institutions in Kenya and Africa in general still rely on the traditional PSTN fixed lines and or GSM for branch to branch calls leading to enormous communication costs. From the monthly telephone bills management cannot tell which employee made which calls and for what business benefit. AirTouch has a solution for branch to branch communication that will help control and reduce such cost by up to 50%. With the arrival of fiber optic cable and market acceptance of VoIP in Kenya, we can now layer VoIP on client existing internet link. The key requirement is for the internet service provider to supply stable internet connectivity at client premises preferably via fiber optic or copper cable which will cost slightly more than that normally used for surfing, data downloads and uploads. Just like internet quality, equipments used to transport VoIP equally contribute to voice quality as sub-standard equipment can lead to unclear, dropped and or failed VoIP calls.
AirTouch understands the requirement for VoIP stability, availability and reliability and has accordingly deployed technologies used in the developed world to provide VoIP to end users. The company guarantees quality VoIP as long as the client has quality internet connectivity.
